Colm Hearne

Colm lives in Dublin, Ireland, and has been writing since he was a child. He holds an Arts degree in Film, Literature and Drama from Dublin Business School. He published a children's fantasy book called "A Legend of Tara: Fionn the Reviver", and it has gotten a lot of great reviews and has sold hundreds of copies. He is planning to make it into a book series, and has written the prequel book “A Legend of Tara: The Lost Brother”, and he is also working on the third book. He is also interested in comic book writing. His favourite writers include C.S. Lewis, Brian Jacques, Roald Dahl and J.R.R. Tolkien. He works at Fighting Words in Dublin, an organisation that helps children and young people with creative writing. He is also part of a writers workshop that meets every month, and is a member of the SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. He also enjoys playing chess, running, listening to music and watching movies.
